Altamash Khan, a Class 11 student from St. Umar Higher Secondary School, has brought pride to Indore by winning the silver medal at the Sub-Junior and Cadet State Judo Championship, held from January 2 to January 5 at Nehru Stadium. Organized by the Madhya Pradesh Judo Association, the competition witnessed Altamash’s remarkable skill and determination, earning him this prestigious accolade. His achievement, a testament to his dedication and rigorous training, also highlights the significant contributions of his coaches and school. Recognizing his success, the Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Department announced a sports scholarship to support Altamash in advancing his judo career. The principal of St. Umar Higher Secondary School, Mr. Sandesh Gupta, along with the Managing Committee of Islamia Kareemia Society, Sports Officer Dr. Rafiq Khan, and coaches Rehan Khan and Mehmood Khan, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Altamash.
